Therapy: Jungian Analysis

Jungian analysis is a portal through which one moves toward the landscape of the unconscious through work with dream images, fantasies, recurrent patterns in relationships.

In analysis emphasis is placed on the unknown, or unconscious content yet to be explored, which contains the enigmatical problem and its solution.

On this path, the analysis pays close attention to psyche’s process as it is reflected through the functions of feeling, sensing, thinking and intuition: in the heart, the body, your mind, and the soul.

To bring an experience into greater awareness is to reclaim energy attached to it. Jung described this process as “individuation”.

“Individuation means becoming an “in-dividual”, and, in so far as “individuality embraces our innermost, last, and incomparable uniqueness, it also implies becoming one’s own self. We could therefore translate individuation as “coming to selfhood” or “self-realization”
